The Executive Internship Program (EIP) is a 10-week (summer) or 12-week (semester) intensive experience for both undergraduate and graduate students. The program attracts individuals from all backgrounds who are committed to learning about equity, diversity, inclusion in human resources, marketing & advertisement, leadership development and/or research in these areas. Our interns are an extension of our team and participate in workshops, networking events, leadership programs etc. They work under the tutelage of great leadership and are given meaningful projects to make an impact for our practice, clients, and community.

This is a 10-week summer internship that starts from June 2nd to August 9th (up to 25 hours per week). Application review is from April 15th - May 17th and interviews will be held from May 17th - 21st. Accepted candidates can expect to be notified no later than Wednesday, May 26th 2021.

We are looking for interns in these areas:

HR - Compensations & Benefit, Talent Acquisition, Org. Dev & Change

Marketing - Brand Development/Design

Web Design - Website Design

Computer Science - Software Development & Research

UX Design - User Interface / Experience

Working with the Operations Team to:
  • Strategize, develop and implement marketing campaigns
  • Organize information and data for our leadership team
  • Research topics relating to equity, diversity and inclusion
  • Collaborate with other interns
  • Assist in organizing and managing networking events
  • Assist with inquiries via email and/or website
  • Provide live and/or real time information on social media platforms
  • Engage with Leadership Institute programs
  • Support Talent Acquisition initiatives for clients and prospective candidates
  • Assist with additional EDI Firm culture related projects
  • Consistently demonstrate commitment to firm's mission and values
  • Maintains high regard for client and candidate privacy in accordance with policies
  • Reliable attendance to meetings and events is expected and required
  • Performs all other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated commitment and/or exposure to equity, diversity, inclusion.
  • Relative experience in human resources, marketing, communications, web development research and web design.

Preferred:
  • Majors in Human Resources Management/Development, Marketing, Communications, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Information Technology, Computer Science and/or Engineering
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Active listening, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Professionalism, drive and passion for DEI
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Suite, Google and database software
  • Organization skills to manage multiple projects
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to help make data-driven decisions
  • Illustrate creativity and ability to adapt
  • Ability to maintain sensitive information and confidentiality
  • Self-motivated and be able to work independently on projects remotely
