About the role

We are looking for a Director, Research and Insights responsible for leading Rêve's research capabilities across our Fortune 500 client portfolio. You will be our team's research expert through all phases of our strategy and innovation process, bringing deep expertise with traditional research methods and using new digital research platforms. You will work with our clients to develop the research strategy to translate their needs into human-centered approaches for discovering the answers to their questions. You will have experience working with agile teams where speed and costs are as important to our clients as the depths of the insights. This is an individual contributor role designed for someone who can help us build our research team over time. You will report to the Vice President, Client Services.

What you can do in this role

Relationship and capability building
  • Develop relationships with client research leaders and their staff
  • Provide advisory support to senior business leaders
  • Participate in scoping conversations to design research approach and model costs for client proposals and RFPs
  • Understand our clients' research capabilities, resonant knowledge
  • Uncover opportunities to help our clients grow and create new revenue opportunities
  • Upskill our team members in new content areas and research methods
  • Develop white papers, blog posts, and case studies to share our expertise

Research strategy and execution
  • Design and run end-to-end primary research projects
  • Research and experiment with the latest tools/methods to accomplish research plans
  • Conduct and present secondary research findings including macro trends,, and industry analysis
  • Partner with designers to develop visual stimulus for research to understand user needs, uncover opportunities, and test assumptions
  • Summarize research findings and uncover systems-level patterns
  • Help develop personas, journey maps, storyboards, blueprints, prototypes, and creative storytelling tools to ensure design for user needs
  • Make research findings impactful through a variety of formats such as presentations, user stories and videos, immersive experiences, and exhibits
  • Test concepts and prototypes and help our team iterate based on user feedback
  • Manage the research budget, client data security requirements and procedures, and research platforms

What we are looking for

  • Committed to creating inclusive experiences and working in a manner that shows respect for diversity and equality
  • Strong presentation and written skills
  • Experience in all areas of qualitative, quantitative, and UX research methods
  • Experience applying research insights to develop products, services, and experiences
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Design, Sociology, Anthropology, and Behavioral Psychology
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
