The Department of Anthropology and the Department of East Asian Studies at McGill University are seeking to fill a temporary 8-month joint replacement position in East Asian Archaeology and Culture at the faculty lecturer level (September 1, 2017 to April 30, 2018). The Departments are especially interested in applicants whose research includes material expressions of social identity. Candidates will be asked to teach four undergraduate courses in East Asian archaeology and culture, including historical archaeology. A Ph.D. in hand is expected at time of appointment.
