The Anthropology Field Group at Pitzer College invites applications for two nine-month, full-time visiting assistant professor positions in Anthropology for the 2019-2020 academic year, starting August 15, 2019. Responsibilities include teaching five undergraduate courses during the academic year, including Introduction to Sociocultural Anthropology and anthropology courses within the candidate’s specialty area complementing our current offerings. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in undergraduate teaching. Normally, successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in Anthropology by August 15, 2019.
