The Department of Anthropology at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln has a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position beginning August, 2019. Area of specialization is Forensic Anthropology. The tenure-track candidate is expected to teach and research. The faculty member will be required to develop, manage and expand the Forensic Anthropology Program through curricular development and by establishing connections with other relevant departments and programs, including the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency Laboratory at Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
*PhD degree in Anthropology or related field from an accredited institution is required. *Ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the department and the institution. *Candidate must have an active record of research and scholarship. *Publication track record and ability to attract external funding commensurate with the level of appointment.
