Job Information: The primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be to direct and teach in the MA program in Applied Archaeology, as well as to teach undergraduate courses as needed, and conduct research.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a PhD in archaeology or anthropology by time of appointment.
Appointment will be made at either the Assistant or Associate Professor level dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Preferred qualifications: The successful applicant will specialize in California archaeology and have significant experience in the CRM industry at a supervisory level. Experience of successful collaboration with Native American communities will be a bonus, as will strong ties to the California CRM community. This position to begin April 2018.
